Elegant Evergreen for Year-Round Landscape Interest
Transform your outdoor space with the Blue Waves Colorado Spruce, a captivating evergreen specimen that combines striking visual appeal with reliable performance. This distinctive cultivar showcases soft, silvery-blue needles arranged in a graceful, wavy form that creates an eye-catching focal point in any garden setting. The naturally cascading branching pattern sets it apart from traditional upright spruces, offering a more refined and ornamental presence. Blue Waves Colorado Spruce is built for success in diverse growing conditions. This hardy tree thrives in full sun and well-draining soil, adapting seamlessly in cool climates. Once established, it requires minimal maintenance while delivering maximum visual impact. The dense foliage provides excellent screening and privacy benefits, while the cool blue tones intensify during winter months, ensuring your landscape remains beautiful year-round. Naturally resistant to common pests and diseases, this spruce is an investment in long-term landscape beauty that adds architectural interest and lasting value to any property.
Planting & Care
Planting: Choose a spot that grows in full sun to partial shade. The tree thrives in any well-draining soil type. Ideally, you want to plant your Baby Blue Spruce in spring or fall.
Watering: After planting, water your tree a few times a week for the first two to three months. Though an established spruce is drought-tolerant, it is healthier and faster growing if you water it during dry periods of the year.
Fertilizing: You can add a slow-release fertilizer when planting and in the spring to ensure your tree is healthy. However, never use horticultural oil on your spruce.
