Velvety, Dark Red Roses Deepen to Near-Black Hues

Add some richness to your yard with the Dancing in the Dark® Rose. These double flowers pack a powerful punch with bewitching colors and a soft but sweet scent.

This rose bush delivers a deep burgundy color with almost black edges for a blood-red shade that will elevate your garden. You’ll love the velvety petals with their fluted design, and they’re perfect for homegrown bouquets and floral arrangements.

Not to mention, this flower is low-maintenance, heat-tolerant, and resistant to diseases, so you can enjoy it for many long (and continuous) blooming seasons. From spring to autumn, your yard, patio, and more will be transformed with intense red shades.

The Dancing in the Dark® Rose thrives in full sun or partial shade, making it perfect for any space. Buy yours now!

Planting & Care

1. Planting:  Select a location that receives at least 6 hours of direct sunlight each day; however, this variety can also tolerate some shade. Plant in well-drained, moderately fertile soil. When planting multiple plants, space them approximately 3 feet apart. Dig a hole that is twice as wide and deep as the root ball. Refill the hole with soil, ensuring that the rose is planted at the same depth as it was in the container. Finally, add mulch to help retain moisture and suppress weeds.

2. Watering:  Water your plants deeply and regularly, especially when they are young. Be sure to avoid watering from above.

3. Fertilizing:  Fertilize your roses once a month using an organic rose fertilizer.

4. Pruning: Sterilize pruning shears and prune them in late winter or early spring. Remove spent blooms to promote additional flowering.
