Planting & Care
1. Planting: Choose a sunny spot with well-drained soil for optimal growth. Dig a hole that’s wider than the root ball and about 2 inches deeper, placing the plant so that the eyes are just below the soil surface. Space your peonies about 3 feet apart to ensure good air circulation.
2. Watering: Initially, water the peony regularly to establish deep roots, but avoid soggy soil as it can cause root rot. Once established, this plant is relatively drought-tolerant; however, regular watering during dry spells helps promote vibrant blooms.
